My opinion only: All attorneys try to get as much as legally possible out of the defendants. I have NEVER known an attorney who just wanted to get back the principal only on something that had been lost. Go for the gusto.....

Disclaimer: Not meant to offend any attorneys.

Does MIDL have any cash on hand to do all it needs to do?

I do not know

Will the attorneys be paid with money recovered from the suits?

I do not know

Is Midland only looking to recover the cash from the illegal sale of the preferreds, or will they be trying to get as much as legally possible due to the severe effect all of this had on its market capitalization?

I do not know

Now me I would personally go for every thing I could possibly get. Cash, stock, legal fees, etc.
