I saw Verdi's Aida at the Baths of Caracalla- I was just a kid, but it was a real treat. I have a favorite piece of music from an Opera- it is the music in A Room With A View but I can't remember now who wrote it. I think it is the music when Bonham-Carter and Sands are in the Italian countryside- if you know the piece of music I mean, please let me know what it is. It is a soprano singing.
