Challo,

I thought like you did...Zapata has a strange history...
But I did buy 10 August 12.50 calls this morning @1 5/16..
Closed at 9 5/8...

Now...if only MDCO and FGII will start an internet company...

Just my thoughts
Dave

Yeah. I couldn't stand it either. But I bought ZAP at 14 and dumped at 20. Makes me feel better about the red ink I see in all my service stocks. It is sickening to make money on crappy companies like ZAP when good companies take it in the shorts.

Is Zapata's CEO Glazer - of the ''Glazer'' family from the Cityscape caper ?

...maybe you were lucky after all - in not buying. The net stocks are shear insanity... The only one that ever caught my interest was AOL as they generate what -4 Million monthly subscribers... or perhaps CMGI as ''the'' internet incubator-venture capital co.

These people did not even have time to analyze Zapata's new Internet buys - they just hit the ''buy button'' as soon as the news hit - certainly a trading opportunity, but the day of reckoning MUST come...some of these net stocks are no different than KTEL or BATT or was it BAAT ?
