Yeah Im wondering about the "execution problems" too. Compare Luongo to Gibson at Manu, and there is really no comparison in my mind... well Im not trying to knock Gibson, but scm is such a complex detailed product that the CEOs we have seem to be a little less experienced on the business side than Luongo is (I THOUGHT). I think I can forgive Gibson but I dont know about Luongo.

If you look at Kathy Murphy resignation it would appear that there were troubling signs at vntv at that time. How long did it take to address any "execution issues". Its not like they just hired 100 salesreps and the CEO has no exposure to growth like Gibson at Manu. Luongo went through all the hypergrowth at Oracle after all.

Luongo in the conf. call said that the competetive landscape hasn't changed, and their win rate vs competitors has been the same. No major price cutting except for a 50% cut SEBL offered old SCOP clients. He seems to blame N. America license revenue growth, as Europe was strong and Asia Pacific was not adversely affected. It'll be interesting to see if CLFY sees the same slowdown or not. EXECUTION ISSUES seems to be the new buzzword for ERP software companies lately (VNTV/MANU). In other industries they simply refer to it as INCOMPETENCE. At the end of the day, SEBL is the only one standing (at least for now).
