Disagree on Vertex not being a factor.

What impressed me was the diversity of solutions offered by TPII.
I know that the bottom line right now is revenue but Y2K is a
multi-layered, multi-facitied problem. It might not be the homerun
$$$ that people predict but it certainly can generate enough
revenue and profit for this company to get off the ground. The thing
about Y2K is that practically every company in the entire world has
to deal with this issue. You can't tell me with all the IBM mainframe
shops in the world their isn't a market for Vertex. Hell I bet that at least
40 to 50% of the companies haven't planned yet and are too busy
trying to finish other IT backlogged projects. Its hard to be optimistic
after your stock loses 50% of its value but I think its important for
all shareholders to remain positive at least until next quarters revenues
come out.

To All:

Recently pulled out my last dollars in TPII after having invested patiently since November, '97. Very grateful to all of you who have shared your DD, but especially to Alan, Jeffrey Mitchell, J. Stone, and David Tucker. I especially want to thank Alan whose mentorship and daytrading skills are clearly a cut above and who can make $$ in this stock (I'm sure) whether the price goes up or down!! I've learned much from your generous posts!! Maybe I'll jump back in as a daytrader as the Y2K drama continues its mighty crescendo.

While I'm against hype in general, I would strongly suggest that short and long term investors wondering anew about TPII take a serious look at TGSK and the Yahoo! thread by the same name (look under "IPO's" section) which has at least a few superb contributors of Alan's caliber (especially Cardshark and Flightlessbird). It seems to be truly a remarkable situation at the right moment--do your own DD.
Best wishes to all of you and thanks so much for the great learning community!!
