Rumor has it CompUSA is in the process of putting together an outsourcing deal with IBM for its IT. Again rumor has it CUSA hopes to have this completed for a announcement and transfer of IT personnel to IBM Global Services by September 1st. This is part of the bigger picture of re-engineering how CUSA does and will do business. This outsourcing deal is to handle the new projects that CUSA has planned. The projects include ERM (also be announced at a later date), and the already purchased SIEBEL Sales & Service.
