Your a fountain of information. Your valuation was great!! Didn't know prospecting was so hard. One of my friends went out west with a metal detector and his girl friend. They did pretty good on the jems, brought back a hole hand full. They looked like plain glass to me (not impressed for a week's worth of work). They tried for gold on the last day of their trip. After a brutal climb up the mountain and down and all around, they became lost. When they finally figured out where they were it was time to hike back. I hear there was a lot of grumbling on the way. To top it off, there was a tic in her sleeping bag that night. So they slept in the car. They were so sore, he got no loving, and they got no gold. HAHAHA If you know any good places out west let me know, I might take my son and give it a try this summer. Don't forget your portable hand held communications scriber tomorrow.
