Is that a list of the stocks which will fall the farthest from here?

I've become almost anesthetized to one or two point losses, but a point for VRC is 5%; even more for GLBL. I think the stock with the best chance of holding is SLB, even though it trades now at a ridiculously high <g> PE of about 25x trailing earnings. It seems to be in the most solid institutional hands, so perhaps the shorts will leave it alone.

I can't see anything stopping the August futures from testing the lows seen for June and July, unless the data is wrong. And the only thread of hope I can think of is that old reference to cash-strapped Asian countries running down their reserves and needing to replenish. Of course, I have seen no evidence to support that, and I probably would have to read every post on this thread even to find the reference. So, I write that off as wishful thinking.

Is anyone using out of the money puts to protect against another major downside move? I'd be interested in hearing any strategies.
