Lets forget about the NDA's regarding prospective storage OEM's. If you take the obvious signs like Brocade switches displayed on STK site
to mean nothing, fine.
What have they done with Bull, Boeing, Litton, and GeoQuest. These 4 have been 6-12 months old. No sales, no inkling of what might be going on. Any questions fall into NDA category. You can't even find Ancor
browsing their WEB sites. That's last 12 months. Same story with 2 years ago 'deals', and 3 years ago 'deals'. Hucom is one and only exception, something so hatred O'Hara made happen. And even that is NDA. Every year something good is about to start happening. One Q the
revenues jump a bit, some very encouraging/promising sale/alignement
gets announced, management feels very upbeat. Here comes another reg D
but it's no big deal, BIG things are about to happen and that reg D is surely the 'last one'.

I bet there will be another one later this year. A minor OEM gets announced first to make it look like we are finally turning the corner.FC will be moving fast. Who will dare question? Another year to
get paid for self indulgment in engineering fantasies nobody cares about.

I wouldn't consider anything they say credible short of large sequential revenue increases for several Q's in a row.

Greg,

I'm not suggesting that Ancor management is intentionally forcing the price down. On the contrary, based on what Ancor has DELIVERED, as opposed to what they have PROMISED, $3 is probably a fair valuation.

The bottom line for me: "Zero is not a share."

Greg,

<<<It may take until 12/15/98 to hear of the first SAN contract won by Ancor. If we somehow knew that this was going to be the case, what would we have them say in the interim?>>>

Thanks for a balanced post. It all boils down to one simple question. Do you still believe Ancor will succeed? Take you action accordingly with your own answer.
