BigKNY3, the IMS data do not impress me at all:

1) NEW prescriptions are going down: 5/8/98.......278,715.... 6/26/98....141,877
2) The REFILL rate is going up but that is to be expected because new prescriptions rose from....546 on 4/3/98, to their peak of 278,715....on.....5/8/98...
3)Soon ( next month )we will start seeing that 'THE RATE of prescription refills will decline since the new prescriptions are declining.
4) Most of the new prescriptions have to do with men wanting a simple " pill " to fix their complex ED problems. Soon the aura of newness will fade as concern about side effects begins to mount ,
5) MUSE scrips are beginning to go up as people realize that for the moderate to severe ED Viagra doesn't work as well; also in diabetics and post prostatectomy.
