Neither am I a day trader, rather a position trader. The position to be w/ AMZN is long. I read some interesting information over that weekend that indicated a nominal increase in sales will have a dramatic increase in EPS given the limited overhead at AMZN. Certainly makes sense and partially explains the price appreciation. btw, is your real job being self employed?

"This should justify higher stock prices long term. We watch Amazon.com's stock with awe and wonder about its brand power. When you think of shopping on line, don't you think of Amazon.com first? Do you believe 10 or 20 million people might buy a book or a CD or something else from Amazon.com by 2001? The leverage on an incremental 5 or 10 million people and/or another $20 in revenue per person can provide geometric EPS increases in a few years. As such, we are not giving up on our Buy rating."

The above from Bancamerica Robert Stevenson, Web Report #27

Dwight, this is the quote I mentioned earlier, the leverage issue is profound given AMZN's ability to up-sell to it customers. You surely are not short this monster, are you?
