I don't want France because I don't want to risk Holland losing a third consecutive final to the host team (West Germany in '74 and Argentina in '78). Playing at home is such a huge advantage. I doubt France would have gotten nearly this far were the tournament not held in their home country.

Not so fast Goldfinger..... Brazil is still there, who will win? frankly, it is wide open.

The Dutch team has to play well for 90 minutes (assuming no extra times), and so far they have not shown it.

Brazil seems to "do what is necessary".... risky but so far successful, the Dutch team could prove far more difficult than the previous teams they have encounter.

The only certain thing I can assume is that it will be a good game, I will be rooting for the Brazilians, as they have been my favorites from the start. And so I will take the opposite side... Brazil will defeat Holland. Nothing personal of course!

Below, are my revised predictions I made prior to the start of the 1/8 finals.

1. Brazil
2. France
3. Mexico
4. Argentina.

They were revised from my original prediction which was :

1. Brazil
2. Germany
3. Italy
4. The Netherlands

Well..... I guess I am well off either way, (about 50 %).... Although I could get the first two places correct in the revised prediction.

I guess, (given the final four teams left), that my revised, revised, revised prediction will stand as follows:

1. Brazil.
2. France.
3. Holland.
4. Croatia.

Soon we will know..... Good luck.
