Eric and George.

I recently saw a documentry on Elsmer Island (sp) which is Canada's most Northerly national ark. They had just discovered a petrified tree that was a few feet in across at the butt. This is located some 2000 kilometers north of the tree line. They also have found various fossils of tropical plants. Given the time it would take for continental drift or a polar change to have caused such a variance of nature don't you think that the direction of ice flows is just the tip of the iceberg ?

Oh, and Eric, that time line thing you were discussing with Bill on another thread has almost solved the mystery of deja vu.
