Re: beefing up on Java - back on the high-tech treadmill, eh.

The requirements for engineers are never ending... have you ever thought about how easy it is for Dentists, for example? They learn their trade once when they're in their 20's, and then essentially perform oral janitorial work and restoration for the rest of their lives and make better $$$ working only 9-5pm than most engineers who have to retrain themselves many times in their careers because they become obsolete every 5 years. Ah, but the suicide rate for dentists is high.
