From Herb Greenberg on the TheStreet.com this morning:
"And these Internet tidbits: Amazon.com has a market value
of $6.1 billion. That assumes its future cash flow -- that is,
its pretax profit -- will be $6 billion. So, whaddaya think the
retained earnings, or all of the money ever made and kept,
by Barnes & Noble (BKS:NYSE) equals? One billion? Two
billion? Try $59 million. Yeah, Amazon has a
no-bricks-and-mortar advantage. But that's still a big gap --
taking taxes into consideration. "

Lots of sane people are saying this stock is over-valued (including me).

Lots of insane(?) people are making lots of money. :-(

anyer...DE FOOLS are DE SHORTS.... Name another industry please that shows anywhere near as strong a growth potential down the road. Less TV is being watched and more and more time is spent on the net. Younsters are absorping this technology at a rapid rate and many much older are very very negative due to either lazyness or a mental block towards technology. Anyway ..play it as you wish ... and I truly wish you Good Luck. GRIM a Gentler Kinder GRIM
