Yore,

Big pharms are usually very lame about ligitations (except in patent infringement cases), as they tend to protect their goody-2-shoes images.

I would like to see some serious challenged put forth the HMO's--the latter seem a new breed of fascism.

German Drug Wholesalers See 3%-4% Growth in 1998, Paper Says

Bloomberg News
July 7, 1998, 11:37 a.m. ET

Frankfurt, July 7 (Bloomberg) -- Germany's pharmaceutical
wholesalers association expects growth to double to between 3
percent and 4 percent in 1998, the business newspaper
Handelsblatt reports in tomorrow's issue. Bernd Scheifele,
president of the German Association of Pharmaceutical
Wholesalers, or Phagro, said growth will continue to accelerate
in the coming years after sales rose just 1.4 percent in 1997.
Pfizer Inc.'s Viagra impotence treatment, expected to be approved
in Germany later this year, could contribute 1 percentage point
of the expected growth to the German industry, the newspaper
said.

Viagra became one of the best-selling U.S. drugs within
weeks of its introduction in April.
