"Is there any Tom Kurlak equivalent here?" Well, Kurlak used to be the semi stocks main cheerleader and was widely scorned on the Micron thread (and I assume elsewhere). The safest time to short MU was not on its way up to $60 last year but once it had turned and dropped 20% in a day or so (and has since fallen as low as about $20.5). Eventually Kurlak turned bear and is not so amusing to kick around. Even those analysts who recommended AMZN at sub $100 must be worrying about the valuation now.
I am still 100% AMZN free and will not try to pick the top but will try to wait till the slide is well underway.
