You have me dim summed with the Treasury holdings data. The WSJ story
that I recall must have reflected one quarter's data. Yesterday's WSJ
actually had a front page column on foreign holders and mentioned the
UK and the other suspects. It was filed by Gregory Zuckerman.

EIDSY looks intriguing now. But it's kind of a difficult situation.
I have spoken with Goldman Sachs London, Dresdner Kleinwort and Volpe
Brown here in the U.S. and both trailing and forward P/E is absurdly
low. But now the company confirmed that it is on an acquisition hunt.
This on its own is fine. But one of the candidates rumored as a take
over target is Psygnosis, a Sony Corp. subsidiary. It may go for $200
million. Meanwhile, EIDOS has more than $70 million in cash and about
$30 million in shares in Opticom, a Norway based company. I hope EIDOS
won't bid for Psygnosis aggressively.

Another candidate is Rage Software, according to DKB. This would be a
much better fit from a funding perspective. It could go for 1/5 the
price of Psygnosis and it would give EIDOS 100 developers. Rage is
a UK publically traded company. It has a history of making high end PC
games like Incoming.

The Netherlands (not Antilles) is doing well in the World Cup but I'm
rooting for Croatia. By the way, while the UK may be the #1 holder of
US Treasuries now, Rotterdam is the #1 port in Europe (measured by the
cargo it handles.)
