Ed, <<Are you running a fever?>> <LOL> Not at all. I just think that the growing body of evidence supports a view that Ancor is in some very serious trouble. Granted, that differs greatly with my view a few months ago, but I think things have changed markedly since then. The silence from Ancor is deafening. I have said all along that I think you (and others) have prematurely judged this company a failure, with insufficient evidence for making that judgement. As events have unfolded that provide evidence for your argument, I too am becoming more convinced that things are not okay in Ancor-land. Contrary to popular belief, I am not stupid. <g> I may not be the greatest investor in the land, but I'm not a total idiot, either. If Ancor had landed Sun, StorageTek, IBM, HP, or a number of other OEMs by now, as I expected, things might look quite different. So far, that hasn't happened. That makes you right, and me wrong. So be it. I don't have a problem with admitting that. If the evidence continues to mount that Ancor has made additional mistakes in the technology, management, and sales areas, their troubles will only worsen. So, to that extent, I find myself in agreement with you and others who view Ancor negatively. On the other hand, I am actually quite uncomfortable taking your side on this (or any) issue. I certainly hope that others on this thread understand that while I agree with you that Ancor is in trouble, that does not mean that I condone in any way, shape, or form, some of your actions. I believe that your treatment of people on this thread who differed with your view was and is reprehensible. I DO NOT wish to be associated with you in that regard. An honest, civil disagreement is fine, as I now have with many of the Ancor faithful, but that isn't what the vast majority of your posts have been. I sincerely hope for Ancor's success, because I know the financial and emotional cost when a company fails to deliver on the promises. Ken, Cal, Steve, and others made a lot of promises to investors, and so far, they haven't delivered on those promises. As a result, a lot of investors have taken some big financial hits. However, it takes a pretty small person to jump all over someone who has been wrong, and ridicule them for what they honestly believed was a good decision. I understand, because unlike you, I've been wrong before, and I have to live with my mistakes. Craig
