It is done everday In Canada....and the largest brokerage house in the US are involved, that is a fact....again I'm not saying shorting is an evil, if there is an angle for making money then people are going to take it....and like I said since you don't own this stock I don't know your angle

No, I have never shorted a penny myself but a very good friend does all the time and his broker has contacted me to talk mabout opening an account there. Janice, this is the end of this conversation. Like I said in my post, you seem to be very bright and articulate, it is ashame that your life is so sad as to either be paid to do what yoy do or just because you have nothing better to do with your time. Try volunteering at your church or helping the elderly or the underprivileged youth. Anything but talking trash to a computer screen allday everyday..
