Scott- Absolutely correct. The Net is intended for open communication of diverse ideas. Now that the Rocketeers have flown off into Never-Never Land (hopefully for GOOD!), I may continue posting on the thread. As you said, everyone overstates the role of the bashers. They should be encouraged to bring forth opposing views of value because they keep the "positive" thinkers honest. They do no more harm than we let them do. And like everything else on the Net, their comments should always be taken with a grain of salt. Just because they say it, doesn't mean it's right. On the other side of the coin, we don't need worthless, valueless, rhetoric about great days are coming, hallelullah and we all need to jump on the rocket before it blasts off. What value does that provide to anyone except make the whole thread look silly. Their behavior and actions are childlike and are a detriment to the true value of our company. In my opinion, we need open discussion of the issues. When a basher needs a bashing, we need to give it him but in a professional businesslike manner. No name calling. No derogatory comments. Likewise, when a "positive" viewpoint is expressed that needs bashing, well, so be it. Bottom line, if you can't back up your statements, you deserve to be bashed. I personally believe we have a lot of good things to look forward to in dgiv over the long run but I, like everyone else including Jimmy Chin, has no crystal ball for the future. If anyone tells you that, they're lying. We all just express our own opinions regardless of who we say it's coming from. Everyone should understand this and take it for what it's worth. Let me know what you all think.
