Hi Daniel, I don't think there is any further contact with the download site. I decided that I would like to keep backups of the daily update files prior to them being unzipped and the database updated. I can then copy them to my other computer and have them both updated. In the quotpls2 directory is the file qp-proc.exe, I renamed it to 1qp-proc.exe, the automatic updating is then disabled. You MUST manually go to the quotpls2 directory and 'double' click on 1qp-proc.exe to update the database. If you want to keep copies of the downloaded files, you can go to the directory qp2sdata/incoming and copy the ####.zip (daily stock data) and ####.cdz (weekly IRL data). I don't get the fund data so I don't know what that file extension would be. Based on this experience, I dont think there is further contact. Hope this helps, Good Trading to You, Roy
