Brian, grist for your mill: look at the 5 year log chart and
(mentally) draw channel lines connecting the lows, then the highs.
You now can see the secular trend. Looks like AMAT wants to stay
above 25 or so. You can also see that the stock will split again
in Fall of 2000. <G> That means it has to go up substantially
before then.

ot portfolio: covered my KLIC short today @ 16: made 6% in 6 days. Put in a limit order to short KLIC again @ 17, using 20% of my equity. Thinking about going long CYMI.
