FWIW, the Bear Stearns PPM analyst said that FPA's CA ops were recently a bright spot for the company. He believes that the company's comments regarding the low strategic importance of their cancellation by Pacificare is merely their spin (corroborated by the recent stock decline this week). I don't know if the growing level of capitation changed the value of those contracts or what....

Richard D. I believe that you are right. Not a peep came from FPAM (at least publicly) after the Pacificare announcement. Perhaps some deal was cut or simply both parties as California Companies wish to maintain their business relationship for the future- especially if Dr. Dresnick can patch up Fpam and make the Company effective in the sense that Pacifcare need its business needs to be met....

Again still low volume and no price movement on the news- perhaps nearing a bottom in this stock?
