Comment: 100kg isn't a large enough sample to either prove or condemn a pipe's diamondiferous-ness. Even if the pipe were homogeneous, which it never is, a preliminary test would require 20-50 100+kg samples. Since some of the pipes are known to have multiple phases, these all have to be sampled.

To date, none of the ACA pipes have been determined to be barren (contrary to some newsletter writers' rushed comments). It's just that early sample results were used to prioritize exploration targets. It's possible that today's least attractive pipe will, in the end, be the one with the highest grade. -- Ashton won't be near the answer to this question for many years, est. up to 7 or 8+, when they'll have had nearly enough time to adequately sample the pipe field. It's a complex, TC process.

For now, it's a rushed onward-and-upward!

Tried to get you on the phone! Just heard that Ashton has also sent their K91 samples to an external lab for verfication. Can you check and confirm from your end and let me know? Hmmm!! How should we read into this? IMO, if true it can only be that they saw some impressive stones/counts.!!! regards Frank
