Lipitor has captured 35% of the market and continues to grab more market share from competitor zocor this is significant since zocor brings in around 30% of Merck's baseline profits My daughter is currently being treated with a prescribed acne medicine which has increased her cholesterol she was prescribed lipitor . Talking to the physician it became apparent it was his drug of choice.Whether wla markets lipitor better or the results are that much better I can not give an opinion . I do feel confident that regardless what drugs are currently in the pipeline, lipitor alone can carry this stock a long way . Wla also trends with the market if we see a correction wla will follow , I think we are in the middle of a strong summer rally which should push wla over 100 by October . Watch for earnings and a lot of institutional buying to carry wla forward. My investment in wla are Jan 70 calls which I was fortunate to purchase @ $4 a couple of weeks ago I will let my 3 bagger continue to run ------- See all positives
