Or was is purely for financial gain allowing her to dump all of her stock since she was no longer an insider?

While there is no hard-and-fast rule, you generally remain an insider (for SEC purposes) for several months (3-4, typically) after leaving a position like hers. So I think we can discount this as a reason, and generally I would be amazed if this is anything other than unfortunate timing.
