KANATA, Ontario, January 8, 1997 -- Newbridge Networks, the
global market leader in asynchronous transfer mode (ATM)
technology, today announced that it has been awarded the contract
to supply the network equipment that will connect all voice, video
and data systems at Chek Lap Kok Airport, Hong Kong's new
airport set to open in 1998. The contract was awarded through
Hughes Asia Pacific Limited, the integrator of the communications
network.

I don't know what the computer difficulties are, but judging by the date of the above award, I'd say NN's equipment has been selected to fix the problems.

Does anyone have information about the computer difficulties at the new Hong Kong airport? Here's hoping it doesn't have anything to do with the NN equipment installed there.
