Hello All,

First post on SI so you have to forgive me if this is not to informative.

I have been following Dell for a very, very, long time; since 1988 to be exact. I have seen the stock pull back several times and do amazing things everytime that it rebounds. Call me a fool but I did not invest in Dell until last year. Hey, I was a college kid and didn't have the funds. I know I know I should have borrowed and been a dellionare like some of you folks on this thread. Well to get to the point reading the DELL thread on SI has been very imformative and educational and has even convinced me that DELL is a good buy. No matter at what price. I am however more interested in the options game. I have noticed this year that when the stock breaks a support level of a new all time year high it flies through the next 10 points very easily. The support range has always been in the high end of the base ten range. EX: $68 $78, $88 and in the current situation $98. What do the GREAT DELL GURUS of SI believe will happen to dell when it breaks this new high. Can it run to $108 very easyily? Also, are the Aug. 95's a good investment especailly since they live through the annual meeting and the next quarters earnings. And if I should hedge against this positions what are some of the recommendations?

Dellicious, your argument is compelling. If expiration is the key, then you'll be right. I'm hoping for a serious short-squeeze. In any event, whether the stock be at 85, 95, or 105, I'll be RICH&LONGonDELL come the 17th.

I think the week following will see upward movement, as well.

Earnings have the potential to de-rail the stock if unfavorable, but I think we'll be fine.

Thanks for the analysis. (It's nice to be able to see a worthwhile other viewpoint based on serious analysis.)
