You should take time and look at them. And they are really worth reading more then once for that matter.

Thanks Samir and Peaceful for sharing the conversations you had with MS with all of us. Much appreciated.

Hi Bill,

I'll move over here for a while. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Here is my original post to Wiz, just in case someone gets lost trying to figure out what we are talking about.

Ok, now back to the subject at hand. <gg>

Thank you VERY much for your reply!!!

In Computers PROPRIETARY implies - unique to 1 platform and or product. I work for a software developer. We sell complete systems, both hardware and software. We write proprietary software, but we use other vendors software to develop our software. I wouldn't think FNTN would re-invent the wheel with video transfers. Maybe, but I doubt it. I've been known to be wrong in the past. <gg> I will have to be patient and wait for the details to come forward. It sounds like I won't have to wait long though.

You make some excellent assumptions. The only one I would half disagree with is #1. I don't think this new product would be completely separate from anything the client is currently running. Ideally you would want to hook into and/or beef up the existing network to take advantage of this new product. That would be an excellent selling point also. Don't disturb the existing hardware/software installation enhance it. Thus opening the doors for more vendors to get a piece of the pie. I guess that's why I would like a few details. Wouldn't we all :-)

Have a great evening!!

Take Care

Ann
