Here's today's comment from CBS MarketWatch:

Skyrocketing Internet stock prices are due to plain old economics, according to an
experienced Net company investor and venture capitalist. "There isn't really much
stock available in some of these companies," Fred Wilson, managing partner of
Flatiron Partners told CBS.MarketWatch.com. "A lot of the shares of companies
like Amazon.com (AMZN) have been shorted (borrowed), and the shorts are
getting squeezed and they have to cover. That sends the prices higher."
