Well at least an anonymous engineer on Yahoo likes the MKII:

messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

He also shares some of the same beefs about marketing and advertising.

Why can't we seem to get these guys on record?

Roger, I thought that the Board posted information several months ago that Storage Tek had gone with wht Silkworm, and that Storage Tek's Web Page had shown the same in the interim. The change is that product is moving. That same change occurred last week with the announcement that Clarion would start shipping to Dell at the end of the summer. To me, what all this means it that the statement by Ancor management that the OEM announcements will be in the second half of 1998 clearly are on target, and it is my bet that product actually hitting the marketplace will speed up the decisionmaking process and the ramp up of production and shipment for competitors who will be entering the fibre channel market. Will Ancor products be included? We will know shortly.
