Motorola .01, street expecting (.04) or (.05), I think. What's that, .01 loss or .01 gain? Street expecting .04 loss or .04 gain?

MOT has reported a small profit for the second quarter, coming in slightly better than analyst's reduced earnings expectations. Earnings were a penny a share, with the "Street" consensus forecast for a loss of four or five cents. The company has further indicated that it will be announcing a corporate reorganization some time later this week. It is expected that the reorganization will attempt to more tightly coordinate "front end" appearances so that customers will have only one contact with the company. MOT is in the process of explaining this alteration to most of its management staff, and will unquestionably add to the available information within a few days.
