Tom, Ken Danchuk returned my call last night. Sounds as if the company is starting to move in the right direction. I explained some of my frustrations concerning the phones not being answered at EDIS, and the delay of the 10K, and several other concerns, all of which Ken answered very politely, and informatively. As for the phones being down, Larry Vance was in Montana on business (something to do for flyovers in Canada) The office was closed, and even the fax machine was out of paper. Everyone involved was frustrated in trying to contact EDIS. The late 10K filing was due to Price Waterhouse taking theire sweet time in preparing the documents for review. I was told that they had to evaluate the books in a different way, and Price Waterhouse had to use different accounting methods to show the financials. (I take this as a good sign, because I believe the financing for the Swancorp deal is done, and those monies had to be reflected on the 10K.) I also strongly believe that Ken, and everyone at EDIS frequents this thread often. He was answering questions that I had asked only on this thread, and I did not mention them to him personally. I had brought up the fact a few posts back that I had a business plan from 1995 or so, and nothing on that plan even existed anymore, nor had EDIS referenced anything on it. He brought that to my attention, and explained that EDIS was still in R&D at that point, and with many small companies it can take off in many different directions. Anyway, I feel like I am rambling, but there was a lot of information during that phone converstaion that is impossible to convey on this thread. I am feeling more upbeat about the future of EDIS, and will look to accumulate more shares at the current price. The next year will bring a good idea as to whether EDIS floats or sinks. If it sinks, I am out my investment, but if it floats, I will retire. ladyluck
