A nice and unusual close for Vivus.

Some food for thought:

If the momentum players start to jump in now and we continue the uptrend and close Thursday in the 14 to 16 range and if the conference call sounds promising in terms of the future outlook for Vivus then the big boys may just decide to start a real short squeeze.
If this is the case we can see a rapid move to 20+ shortly after Thursday.

I don't just want the longs to recoup their paper loses and make money, I want the shorts to start feeling the way many longs have felt since December 9th. At least with the long positions we knew that our losses were limited to ZERO. The shorts will not know where their loses may end if we continue this weeks trend.

Vlad: <<BigKNY3,It is a good thing that some longs didn't buy into your Vivus bashing. Lets see if we bought Pfizer Monday at its overinflated price we now gained how much? And if we bought Vivus at 6 we now have a 67% return on our investment. Have Pfun on your Pfizer investment and just keep on buying more Pfizer share>>

Vlad: I am curious which of my posts you consider "bashing". Truth is a three-edge sword; your truth, my truth and the real truth. What you consider bashing, I consider my honest perception of the facts.

Thanks for the tip on adding more PFE shares. On Monday , I bought more PFE @106.

For future reference, at the time of your post VVUS@10 and PFE@111 1/4. We'll check back in the future to see how your recommendations ended up.

Good luck!
