I agree with much of what you say about the "commerce" superhighway. BUT, I'm still not seeing where the bucks are going to be made. I shop Amazon almost exclusively now -- in the past two years I have transferred about $300 a year in business from a local bookstore to Amazon. BUT, Amazon is still not profitable, and my local bookstore still is (I asked them). You can buy cars across the web, but car dealers are still making money. Package delivery systems, yes -- but Amazon delivers all my books by mail, and the USPS, in which I can't buy stock, is fighting hard for business against the FedEx, Airborne, UPS, etc. So far only the sex purveyers (and I don't know any which are public companies) are making money off the net. WHERE is the money going to be made??? WHEN is the money going to be made???

An aside: my wife hates ordering over the phone. She is learning to love ordering over the net. Bad for me, good for the net companies!
