Steve!

AG3340 just went into pivotal trials ... 500+ patients, PII/III (lead-in dose ranging PII, then continue onto PIII) ... AGPH cut over immediately from PI. They must have some optimism with regard to the product, and must have some basis for that optimism.

It's *way* too early to expect any inklings about AG3340, except that the company appears to be very positive about the product, and is aggressively pursuing its development. But don't expect any news until sometime next year or the following year. That's just inherent in drug development. There's no other company that would tell you otherwise. gotta be patient on this one ...

Peter

Ok Peter, I'll have to let this go for now, however, I want to go on record as stating one more time that something does not feel right about this drug and the way its been handled and received. Andreas, a fellow I've come to respect from his posts and apparent knowledge in the area agreed on this thread recently...

...and we were all surprised to learn that they had rather secretly entered Phase II/Phase III a while back, remember? You have to admit, the Phase I results when they were finally released, did absolutely nothing in terms of generating even the slightest bit of excitement that I remember. In any case, my suspicion is on record.

No return word from AGPH yet on the inlicensing payments...if and when I receive a response, I'll post it.
