Great work to all...I'm just thankful that this opportunity even arose for us...great way to disseminate info to the investors -- and large prospective ones as well.

Great Work!! Here's my estimate of total $$ for blood substitute's.
Demand for product. Current estimate is that in the world each year, there are 60 million transfusions of blood. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), if there was not the shortage of donors, refrigeration problems, typing and cross matching, availability of testing equipment, etc. there could be 120-180 million transfusions per year.
I've heard that the average transfusion takes about 2 pints.
So if you take 60 million transfusions worldwide X 2 (average pints/transfusion) you have 120 million pints. Multiply that by $300.00 and you have 36 billion dollars. Looks like 20 billion is conservative.
Now if you take the World Health Organization figures of 120-180 million transfusions that could be done a year. Let's say an average of 150 million. Times that by 2 (average pints/transfusion)=300 million.
Times that by $300.00 and you get 90 billion dollars.
So depending on which figures you prefer, actual (60 million transfusions/year) or the potential (120-180 million transfusions/year) it is a large market. That is one of the reasons that I bought SGNC.
These are my opinions and figures. Welcome any comments.
Hope this helps
