Having said that, I only use searches that combine the other search engines. Such as Metacrawler (http://www.metacrawler.com) and Dogpile (http://www.dogpile.com). I don't know much about Dogpile, but go2net would be in fair shape even without the engine. They own StockSite and Silicon Investor even!
