James, I was referring to fundamentals which have little relevance in this mania. I agree that the street and company management( their stock options tend to make them optimistic) will do everything in their power to keep the party going. I expect the fundamentals to deteriorate steadily but the public will ignore. At some point the mkt will lose its momentum and the public will pay dearly. I expect poor numbers from Intel but I suspect the mkt will not care and the company can always repurchase its shares on a bad day so the mkt appears to have "discounted the bad news" Mike
