To JAC et al: Perhaps someone can explain why ORCl's receivables are 50% higher than MSFT's while their revenues are only 45% of MSFT's. Additionally their cash is about 1/10th. ORCL is surprisingly weak when it comes down to buying other companies given their present share price. I became curious about these figures when trying to see whether or not they could buy MANU. I decided they can't but these other discrepancies caught my eye. Any thoughts? I use MSFT as a bench mark for a well managed software co.
