yeah, i think i'm pretty much through with datek as well i've had it with their neglect of customer needs mainly in the area of system responsiveness at open/close as well as during the day - busy server messages are inexcusable during the day and datek's latest botched effort at updating their trading software followed by the current woes just helped to speed the decision for me. people have been voicing these complaints for ages now and still no solutions have been provided - truly a sad state of affairs not to mention utterly bogus quotes that i occasionally run across - a prime example today being KAB - as well as the annoyingly incorrect change column on listed stocks no options trading yet either even though it's been promised for as long as i can remember i started pulling my cash out today and will pull more out as i liquidate positions open to suggestions as to where to take my business - should datek improve drastically i will stay with them. i love the 9.99/trade but the lost opportunities due to their inability to make/execute/present a trade just aren't worth the hassle anymore. :(
