Thanks RS for your courage and honesty. That was a great Castenada quote. While we're on the subject of past blunders, my wrong has been to fail to admit that I was wrong about a stock and then to continue throwing good money after bad, thinking that I was averaging down, when in reality I was burning my funds. I finally wised up (hopefully) and have traded my trash for winners. The incredible increase in the value of my holdings this year (due to gains in CSCO and CMGI) continues to amaze and delight me, so right now it looks like I made a good decision.

Thanks again for sharing your experiences with the "dark side" of investing. I'd love to hear similar stories from other brave souls out there.
