I have felt all along that AMD was better off cutting the pre-earnings hype and letting its business speak for itself. Each quarter, I fantasize that they have done just that and will surprise on the upside. However, I have come to realize that these are just fantasies. In my view, AMD will soar at some point this year, but for tomorrow I expect only a small upside surprise, if any at all.

Time,
RE:"There was a trade with 250K shares just a few minutes after 4:00PM. Either that party knows
something in advance or is a big gambler. Time Traveler tends to believe the latter."

It is very predictable that Time Traveler would opt for the latter.
On the other hand, you know what short covering is don't you?
People with 4 million to buy stock with usually aren't gambling.
