I do happen to know the PPM business and the background of ADVH. The hype about the software comes from Riley, not ADVH, they have a good product but it has only been about 20% of revenues and that was expected to shrink, not because of falling software sales but because of rising PPM business. This is not a software company and I knew that when I bought it.

The old model PPM's offered a lot of up-front cash or stock in exchange for a big piece of the gross revenue stream. This added no value and as you can see, many of these deals are unwinding. That has hurt ADVH, because it does not have the debt or dilution of these old-time practice consolidators. But it is hurt by association and Riley is a great liability because he made it look like the stock was doing the promoting of recent times.

The PPM business is evolving into a phase where a PPM company must add value to the physicians' business. I think ADVH is part of that evolution. I think there is value here when the smoke clears so I'm holding long. Everyone has to decide for themselves what to do.

PS the Stark Laws are not the end of the PPM's, just may change the formula for compensation
