I really don't know as I don't trade options. Therefore, other than creating volatility in the stock, I'm not sure that options have any other affect on the stock's price. Maybe others on the thread who are active option trades can add further details.

I do know that a "squeez" on the short players can cause the stock to move up in a fairly significant manner.
