Who's the bonehead who wrecked the scaling of the QUOTE.COM 5-minute chart by selling at 25.8 instead of 28.8???

I once had a friend who wanted to set a stop-loss, so he punched in a value 8% less than what CPQ was currently trading at. Only one problem ... he punched in a sell order by mistake. It sold.

It's very difficult to call the top, I think we are near, but you really need cojones to short and have the guts/margin to stay with it if things keep rising. As with Spyglass and Netscape during the initial goround, perhaps the best thing to do is wait until they roll over and begin a steady decline....

Good luck,
John

PS - There was an undertaker from Arkansas that was shorting Dell (and AOL + other internet stocks) last year. He said he had the resources to hold on and not to feel sorry for him. (Our friend Hank if you read the thread). If he is still holding on, I think he is now so far in the hole that he will never recover that cash....
