This investment for me was a big mistake and a learning experience, but I'd say that winning bach Diamond and STB is a huge accomplishment for the revamped management team. q2 qnd q3 will likely produce terrible financial performance for S3, but with regained market share and further industry consolidation of weaker players, I am holding the shares for a few more quarters in belief that q4 and beyond will brign a return to profitability and an upturn in the stock price.

But this 10% pop was enough to get a mention at The Motley Fool (Monday 7/6/98 Lunchtime news, I believe) as to what was up. Maybe most everyone's gone on summer vacation and the rest are all transfixed by those acrobatic InterNut stocks. Nobody can say later they weren't notified...
