Janar:
I am also long on QWST, and I know a few others on this thread are long too. QWST and Cisco have partnered on many occasions, most recently on building the next generation Internet2 deal. I think that it is very possible that they could get bought. But not by Cisco (duh!). Perhaps it will be the next Cisco, but that is quite unlikely...

"...anyone here follow QWST?"

Yes, we're watching.

If you haven't seen it, definitely take a look at this month's Upside Magazine (website @ upside.com. There's an in-depth profile/story on them and the general biz -- even a picture of their nifty cable-laying rail device in action.

There's some intimation in the article that IXC Comm (http://www.ixc-comm.com) may be the better bargain in terms of stocks these days, kind of the undiscovered QWST.

It'll be interesting to see if QWST can substantially take out it's mid-March high of 40+.

Correction - Dell has become the CSCO of pc's. Cisco was there way before DELL was selling pc's over the web. Cisco does $2.7 billion in orders.
