announced that db-ONE(TM), its high performance database software solutions package, is now available with open,
cross-platform interfaces, which enables customers to access db-ONE's powerful search engine from Java applets and
applications, Active Server Pages, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Visual C++ and any other development environment which
supports the Active X/COM standards.

engine that supports Boolean, wildcarding, fast prefix, radius, numeric and phonetic searches, db-ONE is constructed to
provide subsecond data retrieval solutions for Internet directories and catalogs, as well as electronic commerce and VAR
applications that require high-speed access.

Distributed COM (DCOM) permits network-based interaction of components.
Fully scalable, db-ONE is available for Windows NT(R) and Solaris(R). Metro One uses db-ONE as the database engine
